Explosia a.s. is a business and production company focusing primarily on the production of explosives and the services related to the applications of the energetic materials for civil and military use. Explosia a.s. meets the conditions for access to information for the classification level “Confidential” pursuant to Section 20(1)(a) of Act No. 412/2005 Coll. on the Protection of Classified Information and Security Clearance, as amended.
The company was established in 1920 and it has been operated in various business forms and associations – from a joint stock company through a plant within larger company units back to an independently-operating company from 1st June 2002. Explosia a.s. has an important position in the area of explosives and ammunition on the Czech market, but it is also an eminent exporter, especially into EU countries.
